My Experience at the Haven Caravan Park in Dorset

posted on 21 April 2012

Haven was our first caravan park holiday. We'd looked at motorhomes for sale originally, but decided they were too expensive, so settled on a caravan break instead. We selected a caravan break just because it was the cheapest option during the bank holiday weekend. We were expecting just a place to stay after day long sight-seeing. We checked-in at the Haven , which was rather simpler than expected. We walked into a 3 bedroom modern caravan which looked new or rather a year old. It was cosy which is expected for a caravan. The facilities in the living area are very nice. One of my friend even cooked a dinner for all of us. We walked around but haven't spent much time in the holiday park. We tried to go for a swim which was closed due to maintenance. Over all it was a very nice experience and will definitely opt for another caravan holiday when my little one is a couple of years old. He would have fun with the facilities in the park.

Confident Being Alone with a Good Individual Health Insurance Policy

posted on 7 September 2011

My husband and I recently got a divorce so I am officially alone, literally. My parents died in a car accident while I was still in college and as luck will have it, both of them have no other sibling or any living parent. That is the reason why I practically grew up alone without any relative to look after me but since I was already of legal age then and living on my own in the dorms I didn’t have a hard time adjusting. It is fortunate that I have a trust fund so I didn’t have to worry about finances hence, I was able to finish school without any problems. My parents also bought me a long standing individual health insurance policy with maximum coverage so I am also secured should I fall ill. A lot of people feel sorry for me, but I am not, since I know that there are more people out there who are going through the same thing but without any kind of financial or health security.

Why parents should always have passports on them

posted on 9 April 2011

There are people who think that they do not need to have passports because they think that they do not need to travel or they do not even see themselves traveling to other countries. The thing is that young people like traveling. Especially when they graduate from high school, they take a trip round the world so that they can satisfy their hunger of being in another country. A lot of things can happen to someone when they are traveling. If you want to see someone who does not fancy traveling go to passport agencies to get a passport. This would be if their child or children get in to trouble and they are supposed to go be there for them because they are listed as their emergency contact. These parents will want to get a passport in a very short period and the best thing they will have to do is to go an agency for passports and apply them from there and when they follow all the necessary steps they will be able to get their passport in a very short time. It is necessary for parents to have passports at least if it is not for them, for their children

Planning a Holiday Trip for the Family

posted on 17 November 2010

It was easier when it was just the two of you. Planning holidays was just a breeze but with two kids in tow plus the household help, it becomes a nightmare. Though this is correct, it does not mean that you will not take a vacation until they are in their teens. Initially, try going to somewhere near, probably a place where you can just drive and see how the kids will participate in the trip. If they enjoy the long trips and behave well, you can start planning on a much bigger trip. In order for you to plan this well, you need to make sure that you got everything covered. First, the place you are going to spend the holiday should be child-friendly. In this way, you can also have a few hours for you and your husband when the kids are playing. Once this is settled, you need to buy a bag that can be a temporary home for your passports, plane tickets and other pertinent document for the trip. This is really important so that you do not encounter any passport problems and other issues that you might have in the airport. Now, you can pack your things and start thinking about the fun your family is going to have for this trip.

Vancouver Aquarium: A Sea Within Vancouver

posted on 12 October 2010

Canada is the second largest country in the world and boasts thousands of tourist destinations scattered all over it. All of its cities and provinces have great sights to offer to the tourists. Visiting at least some of these attractions are the best things to do in Canada. One of Canada’s spectacles can be seen in the city of Vancouver. Vancouver is one of the four largest cities of Canada. Also, it is one of the most highly visited cities because of the hundreds of tourist destinations that it has. The Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre is one of Vancouver’s major attractions, found in the city’s Stanley Park. A public and open-to-all aquarium, the Vancouver Aquarium doubles as a marine research facility aimed at the conservation and rehabilitation of marine life. Vancouver Aquarium is the home to 300 species of fish, almost 60 species of amphibians and reptiles, and 30,000 invertebrates. It also has a total of 166 aquatic displays that add up to 2.5 million gallons of water when they are all filled up. These aquatic displays are grouped into different galleries that are themed accordingly. The Pacific Canada Pavillion is one of these galleries and features invertebrates and fishes from the Strait of Georgia. Another is the Canaccord Exploration Gallery with a few fishes and jellyfishes. There’s the Arctic Canada which shows Beluga whales, arctic invertebrates and fishes, as well as non-living exhibits. Two more are the Treasures of the BC Coast which displays aquatic life from the BC coast and the Tropic Zone featuring colorful, tropical fish. Two other galleries found at the Vancouver Aquarium presents creatures that are non-aquatic and these are the Amazon Rainforest and the Frogs Forever Gallery. The grandest attraction at Vancouver Aquarium would have to be The Wild Coast area. The Wild Coast is an outdoor pool featuring three dolphins, three otters, and a porpoise for permanent display. Harbor seals, sea lions, and fur seals are on rotation display. When these cuddly creatures are not on display, they are not accessible to visitors though. All visitors that enter Stanley Park’s Vancouver Aquarium leave the place with a greater appreciation for marine life. As if the aquarium’s aquatic creatures enchant everyone that gazes at them, leaving them in sheer awe and amazement of the wonders of the deep seas.
