Look at the home repossessions in the UK increasing in 2012, and you'll realise that debt is a problem that's only getting bigger. Saving money during a recession is very difficult. Gas prices are consistently rising, food prices have increased, and money just does not seem to go as far as it has before. As a consumer I and frugal spender I often follow these three simple rules to help save money. First, when shopping for deals at the grocery store I look for sales at my favorite supermarket online and then plan a menu for the next two weeks. By doing this I can save time and money. My favorite grocery store usually has specials on larger packages of chicken, ground chuck, or ground turkey. I then plan meals that will stretch for at least 2 days if I divide the meat properly. For example, I can make a turkey chili one day to last 2 days and turkey tacos to last maybe 2 days. That is four days of meals already planned and I only used one package of meat. Secondly, I recycle my plastic bottles so that I can use those extra few dollars to add to my fuel budget when I go to fill up on gas. Lastly, I have gotten rid of my contract phone in favor of an unlimited data and voice deal with a less glamorous cell phone company that adds up to $45 per month. Before hand I was paying up to $100 for an expensive contract cell phone. I now save $55 per month that can be put into a savings account. I have saved a considerable amount of money just by following these steps every month. |

My mother has never missed a project to work on her entire life. She tells us that my twin brother and I are her biggest and most important projects and it seems that she was preparing her whole life to take care of her very important project. I always say that I would love to be like my mother, because she is the strongest person that I know of and because of her, we are becoming successful and very responsible people. Now considering that we have already moved out and are all leaving our own lives, she got another project to work on. She won one of the grants for double glazing. She applied for it because she was intending to change her home in to a very environmental friendly home. We were even hoping that she would not have to bring down the whole house because she was like a perfectionist. We are glad she started with the windows, and she told us we should try glazing our windows, that would save us a lot of cost and will also be good to the environment and to us. |

You might have worked for other people until now that you have decided to open up your own business. The vacant lot across the park has finally been put to good use and it made me wonder who or which company bought it. We have been hearing rumors for years that an office building would be constructed on it while some say a grocery store would be constructed. Jennifer told us that an office building will be constructed, upon hearing this I frowned how on Earth could she know that for certain? In answer to my unvoiced question she said she happens to know the engineer working on the project and he told her about it. She also said that one of the floors of this building will be occupied by several tamworth job agencies while the rest would be available for rent. I was hoping that maybe there'd be a branch of my bank, or a postal office perhaps so that I would not have to travel all the way across town to get my business done. Jennifer said the project is set to be completed within this year so that next year it would be open for business. |

My niece is a very bright kid, she knows a lot of facts that we do not even know of. The funny thing is that I have never seen her read, so I started observing her and I noticed that she had a lot of difficulty when reading. Once I told her to read aloud one of my letters, she could not finish reading a whole sentence. She would read them very slowly and then mispronounce the words. Then when she started going to kindergarten, she was very poor in spelling, reading and math. She even missed the sequence of the alphabet several times. She was really good at retaining information, and this she only achieved by hearing them but not reading them. That is when I told my sister that her daughter might have dyslexia and I knew of a child psychologist who could help her through the learning process. I told her to apply for Government Grants For Dyslexic Children so that shew could afford the psychologists. She got the help and with time, my niece got better at reading. |

If there is something that once frustrated me at one point in my life, it is technology. This is because it made me lose my job. I am very good at organizing and because of this skill I was a file organizer at a company in the town where I used to stay at. The company got a grant that helped them to buy computers for filing their documents and files. When they set all the computers up, they did not need me. They told me that I could stay if I could operate a computer and do all the filing that is needed. Since I could not do so, I had to be let go. I was jobless for a while and I never tired when it came to job hunting. My friend told me to go to a college and do classes on computer skills, and at the mean time I go to a benefit agency and ask do i qualify for unemployment benefits. They told me as long as I was actively searching for a job, then I would get the benefits. They even required me to take to them contact numbers of the places where I was looking for a job at. This helped me until I got a job and finished the classes I was taking at the local college. |

Doing research about anything is not an easy job. You have to carefully balance every phrase, questions, ideas and answers well to make sure that you give a credible study. There are a lot of researchers who would take years before they are able to finish a subject. It's like asking difficult questions and literally finding the exact answers to it. Before I am able to graduate on my course, I have to finish my thesis paper. Accomplishing it was harder because I want to leave a good impression to my professor and make sure that my study will be featured in our library. Two weeks after I have submitted it, most of the professors in our college were impressed. My topic on obesity has answered a lot of questions and has contributed a lot to the readers. Because of this, I have received grants for obesity research. This was possible with the help of the Obesity Association who were standing for their rights even with their conditions. It was of great honor to be recognized and be known to a lot who were touched with my work. |

Motherhood is a very amazing thing and most mothers would attest to this and tell you that it is an honor to be parents and to make and bring a life in the world. Women are generally very hard workers and many employers are aware of this. When you go to most companies, most of the most valued employees are women. They are not hired because they are beautiful as many people tend to think, but they are hired because they are very hardworking people. Pregnancy is something that eventually crops up in the life of most women. Consumers are not only people who are treated bad by buyers.They also treat those people selling goods to them badly.They do by not paying for goods they have taken from shops.They harass buyers and sellers by picking goods and products on credit and they fail to pay.They are the reason why sometimes buyers go on losses and they are forced to close down shops.They take advantage of relatives,friends and families who have shops because they are sure they cant be denied.At the same time consumers need to be protected from being exploited by people.The consumer protection regulations 2000 states that all those people buying goods,have a right to purchase at anywhere they want.Regulations are that they are not supposed to be sold goods which are illegal and ones which are spoiled.They are protected from business people who sell bad things to them and those which are fake.Consumers are people who makes countries to have markets since they are know as people of trade.Their aim to get products and goods which they want in exchange with money. |

People are always raving about the fact that technology is a good thing, and that it helps improve the state of the economy and the fact that it makes life easier. What about the part where it has encourages laziness in that people no longer move around to convey messages, due to the advent of the phone, the reliance of email as a form of communication is gradually replacing the traditional means of communication which proved to be very good for your health. So if you are working in a place that requires you to do stuff manually and then technology knocks on the door offering more sophisticated and cheaper means of doing the same kind of job, then sad news come your way proving to be unfortunate because now you get sucked and yet you have mouths to feed. In this case you can go for unemployment benefits sign in at the nearest benefits office around you. You will be asked to put your personal information on some forms, and with the personal details they will ask you for your tax details too. My husband is now in California for a business that he and his brother recently put up in the said location. He has to stay there for over a year and promised to come back as soon as the business becomes stable. For now, we need to deal with our family affairs even when we are oceans apart. In fact, it was only a while ago when he called me up and told me that we needed to sign up for a Paypal account. I did not know how to register to this online facility but with the help of support pages, I was able to successful come up with my own account and have my bank linked to it. I wonder if there will be a paypal phone confirmation. But apart from this matter, I know that I accomplished the entire registration procedure successfully. I must have this account for this will be our means to send and receive money the faster and easier way. Regardless of this online facility’s usual hitches, we have to deal with its technical difficulties. |

The nature as environmentalists say is very jealous and whatever you take out of it you should return or replace otherwise you will not be in a good position. If you cut trees, there will be no rain. If you litter the environment, you will not have clean air. One of the biggest mistake that people can do is cut down trees yet plant none. This deprives a place of rain in the sense that trees act as catchment areas so their absence indicates the opposite. Rivers and lakes also dry up when trees are cut down. It is for this reason that the uk government has been helping the countries that are affected by giving grants for environmental projects. When a case is presented to the government they carry out a study to see how far the damage has gone and how much will be used in rectifying it. This is when they make a decision of how much they are giving to that particular country. The grants also go to areas in uk that need to be worked on. |

Looking for a job this day is really hard because the are scarcity of jobs in our country after the economic recession that hit our country the other day. Those looking for jobs have to intensify the search in order to get hold of the few remaining vacancies. The government is helping so much in this an it has come up with various job centers across the country where fresh graduates and those looking to switch their jobs to more suitable ones jobs can look in. All companies in the whole country have been asked to present their vacancies to these centres so that job seekers can get them as soon as they are out. A centre like tamworth job center in my home town is really helping the locals so much. The moment a vacancy emerges, they inform those who qualify in order for them to attend the interviews in order to get employment immediately. So far we do not have many job seeking graduates because so many have already got jobs with the help of these job centres.

Yuletide seasons are fast approaching in less than 2 months, everyone will be enjoying Christmas and New Year. As a normal reaction, people would save stocks on their houses in preparation for their celebrations. Two to three months before the celebration, most people want to be ready on their grocery stocks, especially those who love to cook. To avoid the rush on buying food, it is always safe to have yours ready for the season. Unfortunately, some sellers have the instinct to increase their prices without public notice. Costumers would only be shocked when they see how the usual stocks they buy. The consumer law action group has been continuously taking stroke on sellers who are increasing their product prices. They take advantage on how people prepare for their celebrations and they would then instantly increase on their prices. This is not a fair action to do, the government should be responsible enough on reminding and regulating the products sold in the market. A sudden increase on the prices without any valid reason is unacceptable. Costumer rush is not an excuse, especially when their suppliers have enough stocks for their deliveries. Costumers should not only rely on the government&rsquos actions, they should also be wise enough on what they are buying. |

I have always wondered what Mercy does when she is in front of her computer. Ever since she moved in with us we have never had the chance to talk and really bond. So you could say that we are just plain acquaintances with the hi and hello kind of relationship. Laurie told me that she is a freelance worker too like us but since she spends most of her time in her room we never had the chance to ask her what type of freelance work she does. Eventually we found out over dinner that she writes scholarship grants and handles paralegal matters. The current she is working on is about Grants For Solar Energy and for one project along she is paid 60 to 70 USD. The article for these grants are kind of long and Laurie once told me that she has seen a sample where the article comprises of 2000 words.
